This year, the awards will be run entirely online including the full entry and judging processes, and the awards ceremony. However, Mumbrella promises that they will still be one of the toughest and most challenging awards to win in publishing — with new categories and the same rigorous judging in place.
According to a recent announcement, the 2020 awards will be run differently as a one-off in response to the challenges present due to COVID-19. What’s more: all entries for 2020 will be offered at a reduced cost to encourage participation.
Also, if participants made redundant entries this year into individual categories, Mumbrella will cover the fee so it’s complimentary. Basic terms and conditions apply so first check the criteria book for those here.
Let’s celebrate Australia and New Zealand’s best work and talent during one of the most challenging years in publishing history! The first entry deadline closes on August 14, 2020. The virtual award date is set for November 5, 2020.
