The 2016 Tabbies are still open ... electronically!

Tabbie awards 2014CLEVELAND -- The 2016 Tabbie Awards competition has moved to an all-new online entry system, responding to our entrants' many requests over the years. Paul J. Heney, TABPI President, explained that the awards program is now accepting submissions electronically for the first time.

"We're excited about the new entry process," Heney said. "We've had so many people ask for this, and it's great to finally able to debut our new system. It will be much easier for entrants, as well as for our office staff and our judges. We've really seen a huge increase in our overseas entries, and I think this will fuel that trend."

Now, the only category that will require mailed-in submissions is Best Single Issue, due to the nature of the judging. Users will still enter electronically, but will be instructed at the end of the process to send in 3 copies of the issue to the TABPI headquarters.

The Tabbies international b2b magazine competition encompasses 18 categories, and is open to English-language business-to-business publications around the world that are published at least three times per year, as well as b2b online-only publications. Unlike some more restrictive programs, publications are not required to maintain membership in any particular organization in order to be considered for the Tabbies.

Categories in the Tabbies' editorial division are: Best Single Issue, Department, Editor's Column, Feature Article, Focus/Profile Article, How-To Article, Regular Column, Special Section, and Technical Article. Categories in the design division are: Feature Design, Front Cover, Digital Imagery; Front Cover, Illustration; Front Cover, Photograph; Front Cover, Special Issue; and Opening Page or Spread. The online division recognizes the most interactive, informative b2b websites, e-newsletters and the best use of social media. For details on each category, here's a handy PDF guide.

NOTE ON PAYMENTS: The new online entry system will charge each entry individually; as of now, we are not allowed to use a "cart" type system to add up all of your entries and put through one single charge. If you need one single charge for all entries or wish to pay by mailing in a check, please enter the duplicate categories with (Paying by check) in the title. You may then download this form for credit cards and mail or email it to us or mail the check to our head office:
